Our stringers are crafted from premium cants, meticulously trimmed to perfection on our Brewer Golden Eagle remote cut-off saw, transforming each piece into a flawless four-sided block. Each block is then precisely sized to ensure perfect height for every stringer. From there, they seamlessly move through our cutting-edge process, including a final pass through the West Plains 125 Series Resaw, guaranteeing unmatched quality and consistency. With multiple breakdown systems that are set up to mill high quality pallet components, we can produce stringers that will conform to meet every customer's needs.
Our mulch production process begins with the careful selection of raw materials, including natural pine and cedar. These materials are then processed using our advanced machinery, including chippers and grinders, to create the perfect mulch consistency. Our state-of-the-art equipment ensures that every batch of mulch is of the highest quality, free from contaminants and debris, and ready to enhance your landscaping projects. We produce a top grade wood mulch. Each log that is run through our facility is debarked before the milling process begins. Once the bark is peeled off of the log it runs through a hammer mill that grinds the bark into landscaping mulch that looks great.
Pallet lumber developing mold can be a huge concern for manufacturing and storage facilities that place their products on wooden pallets. If requested by the customer each component of the pallet can be treated with a product called Nexgen. Nexgen prevents mold from growing on the lumber long enough for the moisture of the lumber to dry to the point where conditions are no longer suitable for mold growth. The lumber is submerged in a vat and then placed over a drip pan until the excess product has run off of the lumber. Once the pallet components are dry enough they are ready for assembly.
Heat treating is a process that is used to eliminate the presence of pests in the lumber that is used to build pallets. The heat treating process is required for pallets that are going to be exported outside of the United States. The pallets are loaded into a dry kiln. The pallets are then heated up until the internal temperature of the wood reaches 140 degrees Fahrenheit and remains that way for thirty minutes. Each heat treatment process is recorded in a report by a computer program that ensures that the treatment was done according to the IPPC and ISPM standards. After the process is complete each pallet is HT stenciled with an IPPC issued stamp. The stamp includes the IPPC’s wheat symbol, a number that represents the country of origin (XX), the facility code (000), and the inspecting agency (YY). We have our facilities and processes inspected monthly by The Missouri Forest Products Association.
